Farm Acquisition

In 1999, Liberty Natural acquired a 90 acre farm, embarking on lavender growing and distillation.  Originally a Carnation chicken ranch, the property was renamed the Oregon Lavender Farm and now has 10 acres of lavender planted.  With over 140,000 square feet of building area the farm is a significant resource for Liberty Naturals continued growth and expansion as a botanical grower and supplier.  The propagation and distillation of aromatic crops offers us an opportunity to expand our understanding and expertise in the essential oil trade.  Our lavender is being grown without the use of herbicides and pesticides.  We are in the exciting process of understanding, developing and implementing environmentally and economically sustainable farming practices.
