About the Farm Located near the end of the Oregon Trail at the foot of Mt. Hood, The Oregon Lavender Farm is situated in a district rich in Oregon history. The Barlow segment of the Oregon Trail passes in front of the farm. This segment was built by Sam Barlow as an alternative to the treacherous trek pioneers took fording the Columbia River. Barlow built a toll road over Mt. Hood. |

In 1999, Liberty Natural
Products acquired the 90 acre farm, embarking on lavender growing and
distillation. We have expanded our crops to include clary sage, rosemary,
over 30 medicinal and aromatic herbs. We have also created an aromatic herb
garden complete with a dance floor and stage, which features aromatic herbs
and is used for weddings and special events. On June 28th 2008 we will be having our 2nd Annual Clackamas County Lavender Festival. It is open to the public and free to attend. Details on Lavender Fest 08 will be available by March 15th, 2008. Take a tour our archive of Lavender Festival 2007.
